Cache Lake Travel Papers

There have been some recent changes by the Department of Homeland Security which will change the necessity of passports for our trip to Cache Lake.  This is recent information and was not effective when we originally began planning for this trip.  This information was received in late February and it was effective January 31st, 2008.

It will NOT be necessary to have a passport for this trip.  The following will be required.

  • Adults - ages 19 and older must present a certified copy of their birth certificate and a state issued photo ID or drivers license.
  • Youth - must present a certified copy of their birth certificate.
  • No change going into Canada.  A birth certificate for all adults and youth.
  • Passports are also acceptable if you have one.
